In Indonesia, sleeping with a bolster, guling, is second nature. It’s not just bedding; it’s a source of comfort, calm, and better rest.

When we moved away, we realized something was missing. The body pillows we found weren’t made for hugging. They were too soft, too flat, or simply not designed with the same familiar feel we grew up with.

So, we created Koalu. Bolsters that balance softness, weight, and bounce, engineered for modern sleep but inspired by tradition.

For us, it’s about more than pillows. It’s about bringing the stress-free sleep and cozy familiarity of a hug into every bedroom.
